Audited Supplier CIU / UIU is the abbreviation of Customer / Client / User Interface unit, developed by Shenzhen Techrise Electronics Co., Ltd. CIU is installed inside the customers' houses, and it conforms to the STS standard and accepts the input of a 20-digit token, containing the credit data to be transferred. At the point of purchase of a credit card, the point-of-sale gives the user a token, which the user then enters into the meter as well as into the CIU through a keyboard. After confirming this token, the electronic table will accept the credit represented by this token and recharge it. CIU works also with module for DLMS/COSEM compliant data collection and network communications. This module design enables utility to select from Current Loop/RF/LoRa/PLC/GPRS/3G/4G cellular data networks according to local conditions at low cost.
